DMT RACING TEAM
The international Cross Country Marathon (XCM) team, managed by Andrea Marconi, is a veteran in this cycling discipline. Season after season, they compete in top-level international races: Cape Epic, Brazil Ride, VolCAT or Andalucía Bike Race, among others. Every year, they complete a physically demanding calendar of stage races. Pure Italian style, with the cycling footwear brand DMT as the team’s main sponsor.
Tiago Ferreira World Champion, twice European Champion and nine times National Champion, he is the team’s strongest biker.
The Portuguese Red Bull athlete set a new official record, achieving a total ascent of 17,753 metres in 24 hours.
Since 2010, I always end my season at Brasil Ride, except in 2015 when I had a serious back injury. Curiously enough, 2016 has been my best year to date: I won the World Championship, I took part in the Rio de Janeiro Olympics and I won a lot of races.
